Sognefjord Hytter

Five cabins beautifully located by the Esefjord, a little fjord branch of the Sognefjord. Each cabin is 50 m² and has room for 6 people.

We have boats with 9.9 and 15 hp outboard motors available for rental. There is running water by the pier, as well as a large counter for cleaning and filleting fish. This facility is located right in front of the cabins.

Menes Fjordhytter

Menes Fjordhytter are directly located on the shoreline of the Sognefjord / Sværefjord, Balestrand. There is good fishing all year round. Their location is a fantastic starting point for hikes in the mountains, a tour to the glaciers and other attractions. The small fjords Vetlefjorden and Sværefjorden are amongst the most calm fjords along the Sognefjord. Only 100m from the cottages does the landlord, Inge Menes, own a small gas station and smokes his famous Menes salmon.
